# Display options

> Control what OrbitFlare DAS API responses include: fungible tokens, native SOL balance, unverified collections, collection metadata, inscriptions and zero balances.

## Overview

Display options change what a DAS response includes. Pass them in an `options` object, or as `displayOptions`. Every option defaults to `false`.

```json theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"github-dark-default"}}
{
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "id": 1,
  "method": "getAssetsByOwner",
  "params": {
    "ownerAddress": "86xCnPeV69n6t3DnyGvkKobf9FdN2H9oiVDdaMpo2MMY",
    "options": {
      "showFungible": true,
      "showNativeBalance": true
    }
  }
}
```

## Options

| Option | Effect | Used by |
| - | - | - |
| `showFungible` | Include fungible tokens alongside NFTs, with `token_info` balances and USD prices. In `searchAssets`, use `tokenType` instead. | `getAssetsByOwner`, `getAssetsByGroup`, `getAssetsByCreator`, `getAssetsByAuthority` |
| `showNativeBalance` | Add a `nativeBalance` object with the owner's SOL balance and its USD value. | `getAssetsByOwner`, `searchAssets` with `ownerAddress` |
| `showZeroBalance` | Include token accounts with a zero balance. | `getTokenAccounts` |
| `showUnverifiedCollections` | Include collection groupings that are not verified, marked `verified: false`. | Asset methods |
| `showCollectionMetadata` | Add the collection's metadata to each `grouping` entry as `collection_metadata`. | Asset methods |
| `showInscription` | Include token inscription data in `inscription`. | Asset methods |

### Native balance

With `showNativeBalance`, list responses include:

```json theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"github-dark-default"}}
"nativeBalance": {
  "lamports": 1328527472954,
  "price_per_sol": 101.5,
  "total_price": 134845.54
}
```

`total_price` is the balance in SOL multiplied by `price_per_sol`, in USD.

## Accepted for compatibility

These options are accepted so existing requests do not fail, but they do not change the response yet: `showGrandTotal`, `showRawData`, `showSystemMetadata` and `showClosedAccounts`.

## Not supported

`requireFullIndex: true` asks for a guarantee that the index is complete. The API cannot give that guarantee yet, so it rejects the request with `-32602` instead of answering without it. `requireFullIndex: false` is accepted.

Unknown option names are also rejected with `-32602`, so a typo does not silently change your results.
